I'm not sure automating this would be "going further".
Only the author knows what's worth caching and what not.
Anyway, I wouldn't approach the "auto" cache until the explicit
one is implemented (which isn't yet in Gnash).

For the specific case, they have control over the SWF ...
It'd be just gnash lacking.
