The current web page provides a link to donate via Flattr. The text
says that donations will only be used to fund travel grants. Was
there enough money in that past to fund anyone this way? (Was there
any need?) There are some costs associated with organizing the GHM.
Perhaps that money would be better spent covering these costs?
The idea of that flattr account is that the collected money will be used
for the organization of the GHM. In principle it is not restricted to
cover travel expenses.
Just ask John Sullivan about the current status of the account and how
can you get the money. Additionally, the FSF uses to donate 1k US
dollars to the GHM every year.
