[Gdb] Michael C -- gdb - make problems

First of all, thanks for you help.

 

I did configure from the gdb-5.3 directory.  That appears to be ok.

 

So, I tried to install GnuMake but encounted errors in that installation also.

 

make:Fatal error: command failed for target 'all-recursive'

and

make:Fatal error: command failed for target 'all'

 

 

Any help would be appreciated.
