Ha, it appears that you need Gnu Make in order to install Gnu Make.
There's a way out of that circular dependency. Instead of running
'make' to build Gnu Make, run the shell script 'build.sh'.
Also 'build.sh' is broken in Gnu Make 3.80 so you have to get
Gnu Make 3.79.1.
It would help if you attached a 'typescript' file, because
I am guessing here based on just your description.
