How about we just meet up for a social drink and chat and get to know
each other and talk about what we might like to do as a group? No need
to take any decisions or anything, just something a bit more convivial
than this e-mail list :)

It'll be a lot simpler to organise than a regular venue and timeslot, we
can pick a pub with a function / meeting room so we're not shouting over
a crowd, and just pick a reasonable-sounding time.
