OK, who's going to take a first crack at that?

Brief intro: Postgrad student, IT company director and journalist;
I've written a few oddments and released them as Free Software,
although not always under the GPL.  The company has used Free Software
in almost every deployment, apart from one client, has Linux on every
non-palmtop machine and has once supplied software to a client under
the GPL.  We sell services more than software, you see.

I'm active in LUGs, being seen as one of the main founders of the
Anglian LUG, serving Norfolk, Suffolk, East Cambs and North Essex.
