[Erc-discuss] New erc-status branch

I've made a new branch called "erc-status" which has Tom Tromey's
erc-status.el file.  This will show a status icon in the notification
area of the system tray.  It requires the application of an experimental
RFC patch posted to emacs-devel to enable systray support.

To check out the branch, do the following.

# Updates remote references so we know of the existence of the branch.
git pull

# Switches to the branch to view it.
git checkout origin/erc-status

# If you want to make changes, do this to create a local branch.
# Running "git push" from this branch will commit your changes back
# to the shared repo.
git checkout -b erc-status origin/erc-status
