[Erc-discuss] pondering the need for an #erc channel

I had someone recently ask me why there wasn't an #erc channel on
freenode.  I'm not sure if it's necessary to have one or not, but I've
went ahead and started it, in case it becomes useful.  What do you all
think of the idea?  I could go either way, myself.
