(A gripping thriller involving XEmacs, covert development, and a big
bang :-). Not often enough mentioned, Stefan Monnier and Michael Sperber have
written "Evolution of Emacs Lisp". I can only recommend it for people
interested in the history of Emacs.

Most of that is due to the people, notably Eli, who have worked on it
since I left. Had to be said.
