We do have rules for the terms we use to describe Emacs.
Meanwhile, natural observing language change is one thing and
demanding we change our rules is another.

A local change like this could be an improvement. Would you like to
send a diff showing a specific change you propose? Then we could
think about that change in the concrete rather than in the abstract.
