I think that it is ok to have a kind of telemetry feature, but for
privacy's sake it should ask the user to confirm transmission just
before sending any data.

At that point, it should describe in a clear way what data will be sent.

It doesn't need to be totally precise about tiny details of what data,
but should give enough info that the yser can see what privacy
implications there could be.
