[[[ To any NSA and FBI agents reading my email: please consider ]]]
[[[ whether defending the US Constitution against all enemies, ]]]
[[[ foreign or domestic, requires you to follow Snowden's example. ]]]

I've noticed over the years that respondents tend to give simple (thus
not very useful) answers and that it is necessary to urge them to
explain more.

Just now it struck me that the word "poll" might suggest to
respondents that the answer requested is simply "How much do you like
or dislike this", with 5 or 7 possible answers from "Hate it" to "Love
it." Does this seem likely? Should we call it something else? We
could describe it as a "study" or "investigation" instead of a "poll".
