Guile based Elisp faster? (was Re: Kickstarter for Emacs)

Will Elisp become faster when Guile runs it? Yesterday I did a little
speed comparision between my two favorite Lisps (Elisp and PicoLisp) and
Elisp did not perform that good (even when compiled). See
