Yes, that's an aswer, because startup looks for a precise text in
.emacs; setting the 'saved-value property, as I do, is another one.

No. Please *forget* inhibit-startup-echo-area-message. Is *irrelevant*
to the discussion.

The "problem" is that I *don't* like the customization interface, but
some modules want to force the user to set variables through the
interface. I don't want to do that. I want to set them directly.
