[Duplicity-talk] cannot verify or restore

Hi,

after backing up files with duplicty, i cannot verify or restore them. i can 
confirm that the ssh conexion is made and manifest, signature and difftar files 
appear in the destination server. i can list them with: duplicity 
list-current-files ...

however if i do: duplicity verify ...
i get: Verify complete: 2437 files compared, 2437 differences found

and if if i do duplicity restore --file-to-restore ... 
it says the file is not in the archive.

there is an ubuntu bug report which seems to mention the problem, but the 
report applies to version 0.4.2 and python2.5:

i have:
duplicity version: 0.4.11 (from debian backuports)
python2.4
