Hi Kristoff,There are a bunch of ones around which have GNU Radio pre-installed, but my most common answer remains using the vanilla Ubuntu 20.04 live image and installing GNU Radio and any needed OOT modules from the Software library.
Clicking this link will open up the install page for GNU Radio http://apt.ubuntu.com/p/gnuradio The same works for many OOTs and apps like GQRX. http://apt.ubuntu.com/p/gr-iio Cheers, Derek On 26/08/2020 23:21, Kristoff wrote:
Hi all, I am giving an (online) presentation / demo of GNU Radio next week.As I do not know if there will be a lot of linux-users, I would like to provide an easy-to-use option for windows users. The GNU Radio Live mentioned on the GNU Radio website (*) is based on Ubuntu 2016.04, which is ... euh ... not very recent :-) Are there any new linux distro / liveCDs that have GNU Radio preinstalled and ready to use, either to boot from USB dongle or in a VM?(*) https://wiki.gnuradio.org/index.php/GNU_Radio_Live_SDR_Environment Kristoff (ON1ARF)
