Details:

There is a strange bug when you copy and paste notes with chord symbols. When
you change the chord symbol of the pasted note, the one of the original
changes also. For example, create a new score, insert a whole note c and set
the chord symbol to c (shortcut c or Notes/Rests > Markings > Chord symbols >
Edit chord symbols). Select the note, copy it and paste it. Now edit the chord
symbol of the pasted (second) note to something else, say d. The chord symbol
of the first note will change, too. Note that this bug does not occur when you
save the file and reopen it before changing the second chord symbol.
