problems with DDD 3.3.7 & ladebug on linux-alpha

i am having problems getting the source listing to correctly display the 
current line number when i attach to a process, thru a command like:
ddd -ladebug -pid 123456 ./my_executable ,,,, etc,etc

the output listing shows that ladebug knows the correct line number, but 
DDD seem confused and simply displays the top of the source file. Would 
an older version of ddd work better ? The files where compiled with 
f77(compaq) -g -ladebug .....
