It's a pre-release. I have announced it to TP in order to give the
translators some time to update their localizations before the
release of 0.5. I'm going to release it next week.

Yes, that's a week point, but it is hard to cope with (see below).
However, as far as I can tell, this will work for romance, germanic
and slavic languages. This suits Chinese as well. It may create some
problems with Japanese, but for this case I have provided a
"pseudo-translation" point (see frm.c:565).

Unfortunately, we cannot. We should have used:

"Folder contains %lu new message, %lu unread message, %lu read message"
"Folder contains %lu new messages, %lu unread message, %lu read message"
"Folder contains %lu new messages, %lu unread messages, %lu read message"
[..etc. Total: 3!=6 msgids.. ]

but then we would need some kind of ngettext3() to handle these.
Unfortunately, gettext is not able to handle such constructs...
