Hi,
It seems that LC_INIT has replaced A[CM]_PROG_LIBTOOL in libtool 1.6. I
suggest that libtool only deprecated these options and still provide
backwards compatability support.
The situation developers end up in is silly; when they upgrade to
libtool 1.6, they must replace A[CM]_PROG_LIBTOOL with LC_INIT. But that
means that their configure.ac stops working with older libtool versions.
