Shigio,

I am very sorry for this. I have tested the modification in different versions, 
but it seems that some final editing introduced the bug in the one line that is 
changed: gtags-pop-stack should be gtags-pop-delete. 

I corrected the patch. Applied and tested it on a freshly checked out 5.7.1. It 
worked. I did no final editing of the patch and attached the patch.
