It works.
But I am hesitant whether to accept your patch,
because it leaves many index pages.
For example, when you execute gtags-find-tag to make
a index page, and execute gtags-pop-stack at once,
then the index page will be left for the end of emacs
session. I feel this inconvenient a little.
