Bibledit-Gtk does not have a parameter that forces it to open maximized.

I can add a setting to Bibledit's preferences. This setting would go
into menu Preferences / User interface. Optionally the setting can be
protected by the admin's password. Anybody who does not know the
password cannot change the setting.

I prefer this solution rather than adding a parameter to the command
line, because it is easier to implement using existing structures, and
it is more obvious to the user when he sees it mentioned in the user
interface dialog, rather than to find out what parameters the command
line takes, which many people do not do or know how to do.
