Hi,
I'm trying to set up collaboration in BE (3.8 from the Crosswire repo).
I set up a usb stick per the nice instructions in the helps, then I set
up computer A and loaded the data to the stick—everything looked fine,
no error msgs.
Then I set up computer B and pulled the data from the stick
successfully: It was all there, no error msgs.
Then Steve worked on 1 Tim and I worked on 1 Peter all day. Steve had
the stick inserted in computer A while he worked. At the end of the day
he turned off BE and ejected the stick. I put it into computer B, but
nothing happened. The changes he'd made on 1 Tim didn't transfer to my
computer. I did a manual Send/Receive from File-Projects menu; still
nothing changed, though I saw a message saying transfer was taking
place. I took the stick back to his computer & did the manual
Send/Receive, hoping my changes to 1 Pe would go over there; still
nothing transferred either way even though a message said it was doing so.
I have three projects set up in three different folders on the repo usb
stick; each project's collaboration settings are correctly set to point
to the folder on the stick. Both computers are running BE 3.8 from the
same repo.
Can anyone help me figure this out, please?
Many thanks!
Kim
