I've not seen this behaviour before. Which version of bibledit do you
run? And could you post a pdf to see for us what exactly happens?

There is a language setting in the project properties.

Xiphos requires a version not yet released, but BibleTime should work
with the newest released version. It should scroll by default, but if
not, there's a setting in the Preferences for references exchange.
