Dear Teus,

Thanks for your help. I did what you instructed. However, when I pressed the OK button in 'Insert Footnote' window, the who Bibledit program closed down!

I have repeated the sequence a number of times and the same thing happens.

Would you know what might be reason for that?

Thanks again,
Pooyan

Dear Pooyan,

The step by step instructions would be as follows:

- Press Ctrl-S then activate the "f" style for a normal footnote (or the
"x" for the cross reference, or the "fe" for the endnote).
- In the Insert footnote window, press the Add content button, and
choose a style from the box that then appears.
- Type the text in the box.
- Press OK to insert the footnote.

Once empty footnotes have been inserted, their contents can be edited at
the bottom of the screen by hand, or though menu Edit / Bible note.

Hope it works!

Teus.
