The domain sockets were short-lived. The current version of Xiphos that
is in svn, since today, uses dbus, and has removed the domain sockets.

Ok, I've submitted a task for this windows-specific outpost setup
dialog. If you can define the requirements, Dan, in that task, I'll code
it.
