go spend a little time on the avrfreaks site. Go to the 'tools' section and
click on the avr-gcc link. Or click here:

http://www.avrfreaks.com/Tools/showtools.php?ToolID=145

you'll see that the native avrfreaks release doesn't support the newer
parts.
