is this different than the version that i installed from avrfreaks? For that
matter, does the avrfreaks one compile for the atmega8? Where is there a
list of supported devices? Does the smartsolutions gcc run with avr studio?
soon enough i'll have some real questions, instead of this silly beginner
stuff.
