[Swftools-common] Problems of Improper Conversion of foreign characters by SWFStrings Tool - 14MAR2010

Hello sir/medam,

 I am developing in ASP.NET / C# and have tried working with SWFTools and database as MySQL 5.0.I have converted pdf file to

swf using "PDF2SWF" TOOL. While this time, I extract texts using "SWFStrings" Tools and store the texts page wise in database

.But I have facing the problem because of the results have been inconsistent and improper if the pdf file have some foreign characters..

While string store in database (with characterset = utf-8) , string stored like this,

Some characters are not proper converting while extracting from pdf,as well as while storing into the database...

 

I don't understand why this is happened and how to solve it.

 

Can any one tell me what is the problem and give me reply solution as soon as possible.

Looking fordwards to a favourable reply..I'll appreciate any available help.
