I have pushed your change (and a typo fix: gpref -> gperf), and have created a

Seems the tarball build (basically a 'make dist') is failing at the moment due
to a hardcoded location of /usr/bin/perl.
I've fixed those issues and pushed to Savannah's git (do I need to update
anything on Hydra or will the changes be picked up automatically?).
Though strangely, the offending "help2man" with hard-code Perl is copied from
GNU coreutils (which isn't failing on Hydra), so perhaps I have some configuration error.
Thank you,
