Say `freetype-config --cflags' to find out the location of the
FreeType 2 headers.

It depends on how the tests for recognizing FT1 and FT2 are set up.
BUt I think if gd has compiled successfully, the right library has
been found -- FT1 and FT2 are not compatible.
