| You weren't looking hard enough ;).
|
| ATM Light (the free version that ONLY does Type 1 rendering
| on OS platforms that don't include it natively, but doesn't have the
| font management features of it's commercial cousin ATM Deluxe) can be
| found at <http://www.adobe.com/products/atmlight/main.html>.

Thanks for the link!
Adobe really made its best to hide it :-))

| In that case, no! Adobe makes some of their fonts free, but
| I don't believe these are - at least not the Cyrillic versions that
| it sounds like you want.

I am not aware of Cyrillic version of any Adobe fonts - neither
Helvetica/Times nor Miriad/Minion.
And for sure, even if Adobe has some *free* fonts, they are not Cyrillic :((
Some people/companies were developing Cyrillic versions of Times/Helvetica
here, but it has nothing to do with Adobe.
By the way, it's the major reason why ATM has no presence here (in Russia)
(another reason is, of course, why somebody should want to install ATM and
Adobe PS fonts if he/she already has Arial and Times New Roman TTF?)

|
| Just to be picky, ATM is NOT integrated into those OS's - but
| they do include native Type 1 rendering.

ok, thanks for correction :)

Do you have Arial font installed? Just test it!
