Thanks for your reply.
I realise that GS has nothing to do with FreeType. It's just that I
thought
you might be able to tell me if I was reconstructing the font
incorrectly,
as you obviously know more about ttf files than I do. And I thought
maybe GS was complaining because I'd missed something.
I've run the font through ftdump - and it appears to be OK - all other
ft programs seem to accapt it as well. It just seems to be GS that has a
problem with it. What do you mean by 'grok' ?
