Hi, all. The Jabber guy again.

I'm revitalizing my Ransom project, which in short is a model to help free proprietary source code and help developers fairly make a bit of money for their work. I'm looking for more participants in its development, and came here since I know there was some talk a while back about setting up a DotGNU corporation to help free software developers profit from developing DotGNU software. Ransom might be a great way to do some of that, as well as help the free software community as a whole by possibly freeing the source code of existing proprietary softwares.

If you are interested after reading the website, please sign up for the mailing list. The volume is only about 10 posts a week on average, and we are going to begin developing the copyright licenses for it in the next couple of weeks.

I'm also looking to get some official FSF/GNU involvement and participation (not an endorsement of the model itself, just involvement in its development), and was hoping for the same from DotGNU. If anyone is interested, contact me.

Thanks. :-)
