I worked with mdupont as well after you tested to verify that it worked and
infact it does. As long as you have mscorlib.dll from pnet in the same
location as the executable it will run perfectly. If you run on the .NET
Framework provided by MS it reports this error:

metadata error in token 0x110002EC: invalid stand alone signature
hello.exe: invalid metadata in image

But otherwise with pnet's mscorlib.dll it seems to run smoothly. This was
run on a Windows XP box.

I just wanted to post this to validate it even further.

Take care,
Simon

mdupont has hacked up the ilrun with very few changes, and it runs...
But be warned, it is by no means fully usable in Win32 ... But I guess
Portable.Net is living upto its name ...
