[Debian-sf-users] installation hand holding?

I recently apt-get install'ed sourceforge.  I'm having a couple of 
(probably) configuration issues and was looking for a poke (or perhaps 
shove) in the right direction...

Here are the breadcrumbs...

Setting up sourceforge (2.5-17) ...
ldap_bind: Can't contact LDAP server

This might be a good place to start looking...  Im completely ignorant when 
it comes to ldap, is there a quick way to test just this subsystem?

You'll see some debugging info during this installation.
Do not worry unless told otherwise.

Modifying inetd for cvs server
CVS usual config is changed for sourceforge one
Modifying /etc/ldap/slapd.conf

In /etc/ldap/ i've got

ldap.conf  ldapfilter.conf  ldapsearchprefs.conf  ldaptemplates.conf  schema 
 slapd.conf.in  slapd.conf.sourceforge

Should I copy slapd.conf.sourceforge to slapd.conf?
