I should read the papers again to be sure, but my impression is that
this needs to be made clearer in the papers.

Okay.  It sounds like I should resist more email communication
in favor of getting the darned CD thing working.   Feel free to
noodle me every couple of days.  The squeeky wheel gets the grease.
Stay tuned...If you know US prices, how much are linux compatible
CD burners?  Are they plug and play these days or do I need to
compile a device driver I download from the net or something like
that.  (I have other options besides getting my own CD burner but
it is about time I get one and the Aleadner to-do item may be the
enzyme activation energy).
