echo mano de esta lista para pedir ayuda para revisar esta traducción
que he hecho de una nota de prensa de la Free Software Foundation
Europe . Si alguien puede echarle un vistazo cuanto antes y mandarme
un mail a mi dirección con los cambios sugeridos lo agradecería.

La FSFE solicita intervenir en el proceso por abuso de posición dominante contra
Microsoft .

La Fundación Europea para el Software Libre (FSFE) ha solicitado hoy
su intervención
en el proceso por abuso de posición dominante contra Microsoft. Georg
Greve, presidente
de la FSFE dijo: "Cuanto más poder tenga Microsoft para comprar la
solidaridad de sus oponentes, más determinación deberá tener la FSFE
para asegurar la libertad y la interoperabilidad entre sistemas"

De acuerdo con Greve, ultimamente FSFE ha coincide con Microsoft y con
otros adversarios de la libertad en varios acontecimientos: "Ayer hubo
una audiencia en Bruselas sobre la
'Directiva Europea sobre Derechos de Propiedad Intelectual' (IPRED2) -
una directiva
promovida por la industria propietaria de tales derechos para levantar
barreras que les permitan mantener su monopolio de distribución. La
semana pasada descubrimos como Microsoft pudo reescribir las
Conclusiones de Viena sobre ICT y Creatividad para la cumpre mundial
de la Sociedad de la Información (WSIS). Anteriormente, este verano,
ayudamos  a salvar a Europa de graves dificultades originadas por
patentes de software"

Continuó diciendo: "Todas estas iniciativas tenian como objetivo
limitar la libertad
de los programadores y de los ciudadanos en su vida diaria. La gente
no se da cuenta de hasta que punto su libertad está en juego. Si
quieren mantenerla, necesitan dar un paso al frente y defenderla. Una
de las formas en que esto se puede hacer es uniéndose a la comunidad
de la FSFE hoy mismo y motivando a otros a hacer lo mismo."
