@Romain-Geissler-1A If you are backporting, can you also consider commit
e8f1e99c96a8303421e66b0feda1651a11c8b250 !? It should fix issues where users /
scripts use --progress=dot:... (currently, wget2 stops with a failure. With the
commit it prints a message and continues.)
