    The column numbers is TEXINFO_COLUMN_FOR_DESCRIPTION.

Thanks.  Let's rename it to indent_menu_descriptions, ok?  It just
sounds a little better.

It looks good.

The only small thing I found when applying the changes was unrelated:
mistyping a tree xform name generated a warning like this:

$ makeinfo -c TREE_TRANSFORMATIONS=regenerate_master_menuxyz -c PLAINTEXINFO=1 
texinfo.txi -o /tmp/y
warning: Unknown tree transformation regenerate_master_menuxyz

Good, but it seems like `makeinfo' should be at the beginning of the
diagnostic.
makeinfo: warning: Unknown ...

In general, either the program name or the source file should be in
every message, I think.
