I agree, and think that is a good principle.

    But do you agree on the principle that I remove most of what is in 
    'texi2any Output Customization' to keep mostly what relates to init files
    finding and customization variables setting?  

Yes.  Let's stick to documenting cust variables for 5.0.  That'll be
plenty to get straight :).
