NSelect bias

A little heads-up:

NSelect is implemented such that the positions of the accumulated
results track the relative original positions.

This means that if you are pulling pairs and expect to be able to
use getFirst and getLast to get objects from `somewhere' in the
original collections, you'll actually be getting objects from getFirst
that are earlier than getLast!
