Distributed Simulations with Swarm

Hello!  Does anyone have any information on distributed agent-based
simulation using Swarm?  For instance, has there been any work on
developing an HLA wrapper for swarm (or even objc)?  Are there any other
agent-based systems out there that allow for distributed simulation?
