hi, all -
matlab is an excellent package for mathematical computations, and for
graphical analysis of mathematically defined system behaviors
as near as i can tell, it cannot handle multi-agent simulations at all
so the question is what kinds of models you intend to build - it seems to me
that chemical simulations could be done in two ways - with reaction-diffusion
or related differential equations (where matlab would be very useful), or with
individual particle systems (where matlab cannot help much and swarm can help)
more later,
