speechd development future plans

Hi,
I've never got that mbrola german module working in Festival.
There is afaik no package available with the german festival stuff
merged.
Patching and running it wasn't easy enough :-(.

However I've seen Bohdan's mbrola-module working in opentts.
I'd highly vote for speechd integration of that module!!!
