I subscribed to this list a couple days ago and haven't heard a thing.
Just thought I'd check to see if anyone is around and do have some
questions about improvements to speech-dispatcher.

I'm trying to get speech-dispatcher to take more control over espeak and
its punctuation options.  I was given a suggestion the other day by
Tomas (I think he's on this list) where we could have parms in the
generic file so different parms could be passed on the command line to
espeak to change levels of punctuation.  I'm wanting all this because I
can't get speechd-el to control punctuation levels to espeak.

Is there any other development going on with Dispatcher at the moment?
can I go ahead and persue this idea and make mods to dispatcher myself
or should I coridinate this effort with anyone at Freebsoft.org?

Thanks from a guy who likes Speech Dispatcher and would like to make it
better.
