Hi,

I am new in the list and Martin advised to me to make the questions of
SDX here.
This is definitely a good place to do so :-) Welcome !
In Chile we have activated SDX for our site www.cybertesis.cl, but we
want that the interface search also carries out consultations to other
repositorios
Are the other repositories *also* cyberthesis repositories ? If so,
you'd better consider querying their indices trough RMI IMHO. See recent
discussions on this topic ; unfortunately not fully answered yet. Docs
definitely need a section about RMI within SDX.
OAI-PMH stands for "Protocol for *Metadata* Harvesting". RMI allows you
to query *data*... or metadata if you like. The big question is : what
do you want to query ?
it can with SDX?
Everything can be done with SDX :-)
or SDX only accepts OAI consultations but it cannot do
them?
CVS version of SDX can theorically act as an OAI repositry as well as an
OAI harvester. Testers are welcome.
Cheers,
