I dont have xterm installed (no X on that machine, only connects remotely 
via ssh) and infocmp -l screen says this:

I guess this is "defencoding" as Jeremy Chadwick in a different mail 
suggested? I dont get any difference when trying that, still garbled and 
Swedish characters doesnt work.
