Mouse support in screen

I currently use a custom ~/.screenrc to display a list of current
windows at the bottom of screen.  When running under screen some
applications, for example elinks, can use mouse support to navigate
menus (etc.).

Is there any current/planned support for mouse support on the list of
current windows?  Is there any way I can modify my current .screenrc to
have it?  The relevant section from my current .screenrc looks like:

hardstatus alwayslastline "%-Lw%{= BW}%50>%n%f* %t%{-}%+Lw%<"
